I has to be one of the most stupid things I have ever seen.  It's absolutly crap!  I hope to god they change it before 2012 otherwise that foul thing is going to be everywhere in the UK.

Honestly, it's hideous, and outreageously disgusting.

The only obvious answer is that they were drunk when they chose that, and the people who drew it, and the guy who put it up, and the entire country, for that matter.

Nuva the country has nothing to do with it! We had abosolutly NO say in the matter.  The best thing I've heard about it is that Ken Livingston (Mayor of London) says the people who made it shouldn't be payed!

The proposed replacement is good though. Its got the classic olympic logo, and it blends 2012 and london together into one word.

edit: Grrr, I cant find it anywhere, it was on the BBC Breakfast News. It had the classic rings logo, and it had London written in a type of handwriting which either read as 2012don or London.

That logo isn't that bad.  It just doesn't say Olympics to me.  Like Felix said, maybe that would be an okay logo for a biological specimen container.

Actually that isn't a proposed replacement, its just something they mocked up in 20 minutes.
