R.I.P Heath Ledger
« on: January 23, 2008, 01:36:55 AM »
I hate that my first post on CV is talking about someone's death :-(
And I also hate the fact that a good talent has just died :-(
Yes, Heath Ledger was just found in his apartment dead :-(
The best Joker who ever played won't be shown.
I don't understand what made him take his own life. He has a family, a career and after this Batman movie, **** loads of cash.
Very Disappointing.

The best Joker has just died, and the only Joker who made on screen are Jack Nicklson and Cesar Romereo... Does that seem right to you?

Some Men Aren\'t Looking For Anything Logical. They Can\'t Be Bought, Bullied, Reasoned, or Negotiated with. Some Men Just Want To Watch The World Burn.

I do believe he finished up all his bits for the movie so unless they want to take him out for some random reason, he'll be there. Much more likely, they'll keep him in and any scenes he's not got they'll replace him with someone else best they can, and throw in a 'dedicated to' intro or coda.

I don't understand what made him take his own life.

It's very possibly an accidental death.  From what has been said in the media thus far, there is no indication that it was a suicide.

Also, a fellow actor had  mentioned that Heath's health had been impacted severely during recent filming in London, perhaps displaying symptoms of pneumonia, which might be related.
